Choices is a Social (Non) Profit that has been serving the community since 1968. Our mission is "providing employment support and expanding opportunities for individuals with barriers and disabilities". These barriers and disabilities may include but are not limited to: physical, developmental cognitive/learning disabilities/restrictions, mental health issues, progressive degenerative conditions, brain injury, age, lack of education, criminal record, homelessness, addictions, and lack of computer skills. We provide one-on-one employment support for individuals 18 years of age and older with resume development, skill development, job search strategies, interview preparation, job maintenance and outside referrals to other social service agencies. We are located on Franklin Avenue close to all essential services and our offices are wheelchair accessible. Our organization is funded by the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and the Province of Alberta
