International Soul Food Our shop opened in January 2015 located in the Royal Centre Food Court in downtown Vancouver. We offer a small, carefully chosen selection of fusion dishes made with fresh ingredients and real whole foods influenced by the owners' roots in the deep southern United States and southern Portugal. The two cultures merge perfectly to create savoury, saucy sandwiches and hearty soups and salads. Our flavours focus on olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and cilantro. Our signature sandwich is the Cheesesteak, made with thinly sliced rib-eye steak, melted cheese, grilled onions, banana peppers, covered in our house sauce or pesto on handmade bread. We also offer lite combo platters that pair any of our delicious salads with our savoury meat options. All of our food comes in completely compostable packaging, cutlery included. We make everything from scratch to create our healthy version of international soul food.
