Schaffers' Equipment, Truck & Trailer Repairs (2012) Ltd., otherwise referred to as Schaffers is a family-owned Canadian business located at 110 Bowlsby Street, Nanaimo, B.C. and has been in business for over 30 years. In 1978, George started as a mobile heavy-duty mechanic, servicing and repairing heavy equipment and in 1980 moved to a shop. After college, Bryan joined the company. In 1990, Sylvia quit her legal job and joined the Company full time. Schaffers then moved to the present location.Over the next two decades, Schaffers expanded to obtaining a B620 License to test and repair the Highway Fuel Tanker Trucks, and to becoming an Associate Dealer for International Trucks . It has an extensive Parts Department and a full staff of experienced and knowledgeable Heavy Duty Mechanics and Welders.
