Welcome to The Sardine Can. The Sardine Can, from restaurant duo Andrey Durbach and Chris Stewart, brings a (very) small slice of Spain to Gastown. With a white tiled floor and open kitchen, the interior is a nod to the intimate spaces of Barcelona and Madrid combined with a locally salvaged bartop and vintage lights. The tiny room offers bar seating, a menu of classic spanish tapas dishes, and an all-Spanish beer, sherry, wine and brandy list.
