A Proper Fit insures the athlete will wear their guards correctly! Many of us have seen them awkwardly hanging out of players mouths! They must be IN to be a form of safety equipment. I have worked with the Calgary Stampeders Football Team and also many athletes of AAA and Major Junior levels in fitting them for Custom-Fit mouthguards! Not all oral-facial injuries are a result of contact sports. Many injuries are a result of any sport. Hockey, basketball and soccer are the top three sports with recorded facial injuries. Mouthguards are mandatory in many sports: hockey, lacrosse, field lacrosse, field hockey, boxing, downhill racing to name a few.
